Technology in the Classroom.

Technology is important in everyday live.


In my classroom, technology will be used to teach important topics, show students work, to show examples, and to reinforce what was taught. I have used the ELMO projector to show a video about different types of fractions. The student really love the video. The video was to help the students review for what they were going to learn. I used the ELMO projector to show students work to the rest of the class, so that they can see how to do a problem. This helped the students look at how other students do the problem and check if they are on the right track.
I have used the overhead projector to plot points on graph. The computer is a great piece of technology because it help me create lesson plan, search topics, and write test. I used PowerPoint to play Jeopardy with the students. Also, You can hook up the computer to the ELMO and use interactive games from online to reinforced what was taught.
Calculators are very important technology in Math. Calculators help compute huge number operations. Calculators also speed up the learning process. Graphing Calculators can help with finding the slopes and point values. Calculators can help with Statistics data.

I hope to learn how to use technology to improve students' learning and understanding. I want to learn how to use the best technology that will help the student.
